She was awarded "Sharomani Bal Sahitkar" award by Punjab Bhasha Vibhag in 1997. ![]() For her outstanding contributions to religious and cultural literature for children born and bred in the western hemisphere, she has been honoured by many Sikh organisatins including Shromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Amritsar and Dehli Gurdwara Parbandhak Committre. ![]() Bibiji recorded the recitation of this Bani in 1993 for her Talking Book of "Sukhmani Sahib". Extra diacritical marks (given in the original script for grammer and translation) that are not pronounced in reciting the Bani, are removed from Hindi script to make the reciting pure and easy for the aspirants. The aspirants who cannot read Punjabi can read along in Hindi and can also learn Punjabi with the help of Hindi as the captions are given in both languages. Bibi Gurdev Kaur OBE recites Sukhmani Sahib in her melodious voice.
